Altar Guild volunteers assist in a variety of roles and responsibilities to prepare our liturgical items, worship space and environment for our  celebrations and other parish events.

Who may be an altar guild member?  Parishioners who may volunteer and contribute time and talent to a specific role or multi-roles, as able.  The members of the altar guild are trained in the following areas:

• Cleaning the Baptismal font, holy water fonts and the holy water reservoir.
• Washing and ironing altar linens.
• Cleaning altar candle sticks, replacing candles.
• Arranging plants and flowers.
• Cleaning and washing youth server cassocks and surplices.
• Cleaning and minor repair of server albs, clergy stoles and vestments.
• Light housekeeping and picking up debris in the pew pockets.
