The Men of St. Joseph meet Saturday mornings beginning at 7:30 AM in Doran Hall for fellowship, followed by a decade of the rosary. After the rosary, discussion begins on that week's video presentation.
This Lent the Men will be viewing and discussing a video series on the platform Formed called Kapaun's Men Beatitude Series.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says the Beatitudes are the heart of Jesus' preaching (CCC 1716), yet how often do we take time to truly reflect on these blessings given to us by Jesus. Just two months before he was sent to the Korean War, Father Emil Kapaun (declared Venerable in February of 2025) gave a series of reflections on the Beatitudes, which proved to be a foreshadowing of how he would pour out his own life for his men. In this series, we will explore the Beatitudes one-by-one through the living example of men and women like us, as well as through Father Kapaun's own example. The Beatitudes are guideposts on our journey towards our heavenly blessings!
