Sacristans perform many tasks to help the pastor and liturgist in preparing the altar vessels, linens, hosts, wine, and other material needed for all liturgies.

Who may become Sacristans?  Parishioners who are able to volunteer time and talent in careful preparation, planning and implementing procedures according to Church guidelines and parish traditions. 

Sacristans are good storekeepers...they maintain the orderliness of the sacristies and take inventory to replenish the stock of wine, hosts, candles and charcoal.
