Jesus the Divine Word Church is a Catholic community of faith
centered on the Eucharist and committed to bringing Jesus to others.
We pledge to:
 
Evangelize by word and example;
Reconcile with God and one another;
Invite others to discipleship, and
Guide each member to service of the family, the Church
and the world, all for the greater glory of God.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of your Church here on earth
and of our church home, Jesus the Divine Word.

Awaken our hearts to your Holy Spirit, enlightening us so that we may
build a home recognized and loved by each of us as our spiritual home.

It is here we welcome one another as brothers and sisters; here we
find shelter from life’s storms; here we are strengthened by your Word;
here we are nourished by your Son’s Body and Blood;
and it is from here we are sent forth 
to bring your comfort and mercy to others.

Grant us the grace to grow daily in unity, faith and love as your family,
until we are home in heaven with you.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord,
who promised to prepare a home for us with you, forever and ever.
